Accredited Buyer Representative logoAn Exclusive Buyer's Brokerage
With Bishop Real Estate you, the buyer, will have a licensed Realtor working for you when purchasing property.

There are basically two types of real estate agents: 1) Traditional and
2) Buyers Agents. 1) Traditional Agents list and sell properties and work primarily for the seller. 2) Buyers' Agent works solely for the buyer.

These relationships are governed by "The Laws of Agency". Agency relationship carries with it important duties the "agent" owes to the person being represented. These duties are: Loyalty, Confidentiality, Obedience, Accountability and Reasonable Care and Diligence. The importance of all this to the buyer is the Buyers'Agent owes you, the client, these duties. The Traditional Agent owes these duties to their client the seller.

Like that of traditional agents, the buyers' agent fee is included in the purchase price buyers agree to pay. The difference is the buyer now has an agent representing them; providing loyalty, negotiating strategy and power and objectivity.

Important Reasons to use an Exclusive Buyer Agent (EBA)

  • An EBA will guarantee to represent you and negotiate in your best interests.
  • An EBA will research available information and present all facts about a property.
  • An EBA will show all properties, including for sale by owner
  • An EBA will council and assist the buyer to make well informed decisions from property selection to closing.
  • An EBA has both legal & ethical obligations to you their client / buyer.
  • It makes good sense to have Bishop Real Estate locate, evaluate and negotiate your real estate purchase.
