I am a retired Environmental Scientist with the New Mexico Environment Department. This position gave me the opportunity to travel extensively and become familiar with New Mexico businesses and industries. I have worked and lived in all parts of the state.
In 1998, while working as an independent consultant performing environmental site assessments of commercial properties, I received my real estate brokers' license. My studies helped me better understand the real estate market and communicate with commercial brokers.
After retiring from New Mexico Environment Department I worked for environmental consulting companies in Albuquerque. I provided consulting services to Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories.
Bishop Real Estate,LLC opened the Chama office in 2001 and moved to Alamogordo in May 2007. My real estate experience began with buying and selling personal properties more than 40 years ago. I was first licensed as a real estate salesman in 1970. I worked for brokers in Albuquerque and Santa Fe part time until 1978. When we moved to Las Cruces I did not renew my license.

I work with traditional real estate brokers throughout New Mexico to locate and show vacation and second homes, rural and recreational land, lake property and hunting and cattle ranches. I also show for sale by owner property and other unlisted properties.
